Changes continually occur at Sheridan County Airport. As Airport Manager, I oversee these changes and the operations at SCA.
The latest construction, at SCA, is a new baggage carousel for baggage pickup. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is also receiving new equipment.
In 2020, an addition to the terminal was completed. This addition included streamlined TSA screening facilities and a holding room for the ever increasing traveling public. This new annex offers waiting passengers a pleasant seating area complete with vending machines and charging stations.
Located south of the Airport Manager’s Office, an overflow parking lot was developed for SCAs passenger’s parking needs.
All lots in Phase I are developed project-ready with power, water and sewer in place. Lots are available! Future development, of the Phase II, will provide similar features for those interested in locating in this addition to the SCA Park.
Our proactive approach with the Business Park development means that SCA is part of the business engine that aids and supplements the economic growth of Sheridan County’s economy.
