VISTA WEST ENGINEERING OF SHERIDAN WYOMING HAS BEEN SELECTED AS SCA's ENGINEERING CONSULTANT FOR THE NEXT FIVE YEAR PERIOD.
Sheridan County Airport received Statement of Qualifications from four Engineering/Architectural firms that were interested in being the Engineering Consultant for the airport during the next five year period. Firms submittting proposals were; Vista West Engineering of Sheridan; Morrison Maierle, Inc of Billings Mt.; Armstrong Consultants, Inc. of Grand Junction, Co.; and James Gores & Associates of Riverton, WY.The selection committee had a difficult time as all firms were very qualified to fill the position of Engineering Consultant.
Vista West Engineering is the airports current Engineering Consultant and we look forward to working with them for another five years to help us improve and ready our airport for future aviation demands.
Dale Buckingham Architects, LLC of Sheridan has been selected as SCA's Architecturial firm for three architectural projects planned during the summer of 2008.
The three projects that Dale Buckingham Architects will be designing and providing CA on are; Terminal Building Re-roof and Carpet Replacement; ARFF Building Re-roof; and Addition to Airport Manager's Office and Re-roof.
