The Airport Vehicle / Equipment Coordinator performs routine and preventive maintenance and mechanical work on airport-owned vehicles and equipment. Equipment includes light, medium and heavy duty diesel and automotive applications to include experience troubleshooting hydraulic, fuel, air, and electrical systems. Welding and fabrication skills are required. Position also performs routine building maintenance, janitorial services, snow removal, and repair work in the upkeep and safe operation of Sheridan County Airport. Successful applicant will receive training in Aircraft-Rescue-Firefighter vehicles and firefighting techniques. Possession of, or eligibility for, a basic emergency care (EMR) certification in the State of Wyoming and a valid Wyoming motor vehicle operator’s license are required. 40 hours/week, varying rotating shifts, and overtime are required during inclement weather and emergencies. Work is performed indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions and in close proximity to mechanized equipment, aircraft, machinery and other potentially hazardous conditions. Sheridan County Airport participates in a drug and alcohol testing program and successful applicant will undergo a criminal history background check. Salary range is $38K-$44K-DOE plus an excellent benefit package. EOE.
